Measuring & Size Guide
How to Measure Your Dog for the Perfect Fit
To ensure your handcrafted luxury dog apparel fits perfectly, it's important to measure your dog accurately. Here’s our guide to help you get it just right!
Collars
1. Locate the Right Spot
Measure your dog’s neck where the collar will naturally sit. This is usually just below the base of their ears.
2. Use a Flexible Tape Measure
Wrap the tape snugly around your dog’s neck. Be careful not to pull too tightly; you should be able to comfortably fit two fingers between the tape and your dog’s neck.
3. Final Check
Fasten your dog’s current collar where it fits comfortably, then use a flexible measuring tape to measure the inside circumference. Our collars are sized by this internal measurement, so this step ensures the correct fit.
4. Note the Measurement
Write down the neck circumference in inches or centimetres. This is your dog's collar size. Be sure to add a small allowance if your dog has longer fur.
5. Custom Sizing Available
If your dog’s measurement falls between sizes or you have a special request, we offer custom collar sizes for a tailored fit.
Leads
1. Consider the Usage
Determine how much freedom you want to give your dog during walks and where you’ll primarily use the lead - urban walking, hiking, beach strolls, training.
2. Lead Length Options
We offer our leads in a range of standard lengths which you can find on our product pages. For a more tailored experience, custom lengths can be made on request.
